da fazobetai: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has stated that his side are completely focused on achieving Champions League qualification this season, and that they are entering the most important time of the season.
The Gunners have been in great form of late and have overtaken north London rivals Tottenham to commandeer third place with eight games to go.
Wenger is hopeful that his side can save their best form for the run-in.
“This is the period where what we do matters the most, so we just want to keep our focus on this and not worry about anybody else’s results,” the coach told The Sun.
“We have shown both footballing and mental qualities in recent weeks and now we need to continue our development.
“We are now at the stage of the season where every day in the Premier League seems to have turning points.
“What is most important from now onwards is our consistency and momentum,” he concluded.
Arsenal travel to take on QPR at Loftus Road in a London derby on Saturday.
