Carlo Ancelotti welcomed the rest of his senior squad back to the club's training ground as the stars who were given extra time off due to their appearances at international tournaments reported back for medical check ups and to begin working out in the gym.

Among the players who came back on Wednesday were France star Mbappe, who is gearing up for his debut season with the Spanish champions after joining in a long-awaited free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, and England hero Jude Bellingham, who heads into the new campaign eager to build on his sensational debut season with the club. Euro 2024 winner Dani Carvajal, Uruguay star Federico Valverde and Mbappe's France team-mates Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy also came back on Wednesday.
