The Leeds senior team are riding high but the youngsters at the club also continue to show signs of promise, and fans have enjoyed what they saw in Leeds U18s defeat of Hull U18s.
In particular, an astounding strike from Josh Shergill to equalise has caught fans’ attention, and rightly so given it was such a great effort in unlikely circumstances.
The youngster operates at left-back but he found himself just inside the box, before curling the ball into the far corner in off the bar, and on his weaker foot, too.

For a couple of fans it has reminded them of Mateusz Klich’s second goal against Middlesbrough a few days before.
Other supporters have used the opportunity to lavish praise on the strike, which is very much deserved.
However, Shergill should also be praised for having the confidence and boldness to even contemplate a shot, as it is that kind of attitude which should serve him well, and possibly the club too.
Whether he could be the latest in the long list of Leeds academy graduates who have broken into the first-team in recent times is yet to be seen, but he is showing all of the qualities needed to be a senior player.
He now has to build on such a performance, as he will have to excel in a number of areas if he is to even get a sniff at playing under Marcelo Bielsa.
Elsewhere, fans have also been reacting to three Leeds players who have excelled in one particular area this season thanks to Bielsa.
