Leeds United’s promotion train is on the right path once again following back-to-back 1-0 victories over the past two weeks, and they aren’t the only ones to be finding the net.
Former loanee Eddie Nketiah has been handed a prominent role under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal since his return from the Championship outfit at the start of January.
The 20-year-old bagged a first-half equaliser as he side-footed a volley past the Everton goalkeeper, and the striker took to Instagram following their 3-2 victory.
He’s clearly still got a few fans at Elland Road as United defender Luke Ayling, amongst others, offered up congratulatory message…
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa rarely gave the Gunners starlet a regular opportunity to impress, managing just 495 minutes in the Championship, although he did score on three occasions.
Nketiah has started Arsenal’s last two top-flight matches as well as their FA Cup victory over AFC Bournemouth, netting two goals in the process, so those at Elland Road must be rueing his neglect whilst temporarily at the club.
