Rennes took the lead after 30 minutes, with Amine Gouiri dancing through the Parisian defence before poking an effort into the top corner. PSG, for their part, created admittedly little – their chances worsened by Mbappe's removal after an hour. After having one penalty overturned in the 85th minute, a second stood in the 94th. Ramos played hero, smashing home to salvage a point.

There's your signature moment, Goncalo. The big money signing has struggled so far this season, failing to crack the starting XI with any sort of consistency, and turning in middling showings off the bench. But here, he offered a real injection of quality. His movement was important throughout the last 30 minutes. And when PSG needed someone to step up and smash home, he did just that. Luis Enrique will hope there's more to come.

Not every performance can be world-beating for Mbappe. But this one was particularly bad. The forward only managed four touches in the opposition box, didn't put a shot on target, and completed just one of four dribbles. There were a few whistles when he slumped off the pitch after an hour, too. Surely nothing more than an off day, but one that he will swiftly want to forget.
WHAT COMES NEXT?
The Parisians face continue Ligue 1 play later this week, when they will travel to third-placed Monaco. After that, attention will turn to the second leg of their Champions League knockout tie with Real Sociedad.
