da 888casino: As reported by The Daily Record, Rangers will not be letting Bruno Alves leave Ibrox this summer if it means they are left paying a proportion of the last year of his contract.
da winzada777: The paper say that Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes have been priced out of a move for the World Cup star, with the Light Blues both looking for a fee for the player and being unwilling to pay up his deal that expires next summer.
Alves had a difficult first season at Ibrox, failing to shine under Pedro Caixinha or Graeme Murty and leaving Rangers supporters scratching their heads and wondering why they are paying him such high wages.
The Record reckon he is on a deal worth £28,000-a-week, which is a huge salary for Rangers these days.
Fans though recognise that the club should not be letting him leave if there is little value in an exit, hoping that they can recoup some of the investment they have already put into the failed signing.
Some even believing he can play a big part next season.
