da jogodeouro: West Ham United are planning to move for Trabzonspor goalkeeper Onur Kivrak when the transfer window opens in the summer, according to Futbol Arena.
What’s the story?
da stake casino: The goalkeeping position is something that manager Slaven Bilic is rumoured to be targeting this summer due to the uncertainty over Adrian.
Futbol Arena reports that Kivrak is the man that the Hammers are targeting, and it is not the first time that Bilic has been interested in the Turk.
It is believed that the Croatian coach tried to sign Kivrak when he was in charge of Besiktas, but a move never materialised.
The report claims that West Ham have already opened talks with the 29-year-old, who has made 169 appearances for Trabzonspor.
So, who is Kivrak?
He has spent the majority of his career at the Super Lig club after moving from Karisyaka in January 2008.
This season, the shot-stopper has made 27 appearances and according to football.london, he makes on average 2.7 saves per game, which is not bad for a team fifth in the league table.
It is always a risk bringing in a keeper from a foreign league that does not quite share the same competitive level as England’s top division.
However, the fact that Bilic has been tracking Kivrak for a while, suggests that the manager is well aware of his qualities.
